2. Haiku App on your personal device not at the hospital… Asking for a code on your Epic from home after entering your ch#/passcode? Should not be required while on network at the hospital (your personal or Vocera/hospital-provided phones).  But at home, this is your Microsoft Authenticator App Code.
  1. App on your phone looks like this: image.png
  2. Will be a Boston Children’s Hospital, CH_____  6-digit code that re-generates every minute.
  3. Enter this 6-digit code into your Haiku app.
Never set up 2-factor authentication or need to reset? Login to Mosaic/Epic on your desktop, search for Two-Factor authentication in the top bar and walk through the steps! Reach out with any questions or concerns.

Guiding text within the Smartset to walk you through the steps soon / once off-freeze. Does not need Medication Assistance form filled out.
5. Influenza Smartset with Sarita’s respiratory reminder, plug for influenza smartset use! for all your Tamiflu / instruction needs!  Will be suggested for flu-like symptoms and if testing returns influenza positive.

6. image.png See this icon/identifier? Med bottle with ‘upcoming’ blue arrow = Medication due (over overdue) within 4 hours of triage/arrival – please touch base with caregivers/nursing to expedite any essential home/outpatient medications!
7. Sedation instructions will automatically add to the AVS (will not see on your dispo screen) any time a sedation start time button has been selected… if you don’t see them, I promise they print out for the nursing staff to provide! Has occurred 100% of the time since implementation
Thanks for the early read and to the overnight team who endured another upgrade – reach out with any questions/issues/ideas!
